About Nicolò

Nicolò is a Policy Analyst at Open Future. After a Bachelor’s degree in foreign languages (French and English), he started pursuing a Master’s degree in international relations at the University of Bologna, where he graduated summa cum laude with a thesis on US technology policy during the Cold War.

Before joining Open Future, he worked as a policy and research officer for the European University Foundation in Brussels, taking part in the digital transformation of the Erasmus+ program. In the meantime, he also garnered significant experience with project management and EU procurement, working on the learning-agreement.eu platform and the Erasmus+ App.

Back in Italy, he worked in one of the international relations offices of the University of Bologna, helping exchange students and academics, and participated as a fact-checker and graphic designer in CheckPoint Promesse, a project by a team of students and recent graduates to take up the Italian coalition government formed in 2018 on the promises made in their foundational document.

Although often on the move between London and Italy, he’s currently based in Brussels, where he can be spotted in one of the city’s many cinemas or walking in the Sonian Forest.
