Open Future joins EDRI as a full member

Last weekend, EDRI’s general assembly in Belgrade unanimously approved our application for EDRi membership. After two years as an associate member, we have become “a full member” of the biggest European network defending rights & freedoms online.

EDRi membership is a crucial element of our strategy to forge connections between Digital Rights and Access to Knowledge movements. Together, we strive to foster an online environment that upholds openness, fairness, and rights protection. Our vision encompasses equal opportunities, democratic access to information, and unwavering respect for fundamental rights.

Over the years EDRi and its members have made invaluable contributions to this, as most recently demonstrated in the impressive work on the Artificial Intelligence Act. We are honored to join this vibrant community and look forward to working alongside EDRI and the other EDRI members.
