Compromise text approved by the Member States

As expected, ambassadors of the EU member states unanimously approved the final compromise text of the AI Act. In the end, France backed down on the two remaining GPAI related sticking points: The © transparency provision (which France considered too broad) and the threshold for GPAI models with systemic risk (which France considered too low).
