New Czech presidency compromise proposal

The Czech presidency of the Council shares a new compromise proposal. This version maintains the inclusion of GPAI systems in the scope of the regulation, but instead of direct application of selected requirements, the Commission would now be obliged to adopt implementing acts specifying how these requirements should be applied. These implementing acts should be “based on a detailed impact assessment and taking into account in particular technical feasibility and market and technological developments.“
