We submitted our feedback to the Commission’s public consultation on the Data Act & amended rules on the legal protection of databases by filling the published survey.
Our response includes an additional document to our input to signal the importance of including strong public interest justifications for B2G data sharing, avoiding new exclusive rights in data such as in the forms of data producers’ rights, and withdrawing the sui generis database right for future cases.
