When we launched Open Future in 2020, we were motivated in part by the Paradox of Open. In early 2024, we present seven Digital Commons Policy Proposals that seek to address issues raised by the Paradox of Open. We have formulated these policy proposals with an eye to the European Parliament elections and the formation of a new European Commission later this year.
