Digital Commons Policy Summit 2026

November 12, 2026

On 12 November, the NGI Commons Initiative is organising the Digital Commons Policy Summit 2026 in Brussels. Building on the previous year’s edition, this year’s summit will focus on ‘Digital commons and the Open Internet Stack for a competitive Europe’. The summit’s goal is to advance and discuss strategies to achieve European digital sovereignty and to ensure that Digital Commons have a role in the new European Open Internet Stack.

The gathering will bring together policymakers, regulators, funders and practitioners to discuss tech sovereignty and open source.
